The Samsung Galaxy Experience on Tour: Midnight in Seoul for Galaxy S26 Launch
To launch the Samsung Galaxy S26, Cheil transformed Samsung and carrier retail locations across New York, California, and Texas into immersive K-Pop destinations—bringing fans closer to both the device and some of the genre's biggest artists through live experiences, product demonstrations, and Seoul night market-inspired activations. The program originated from a competitive RFP, where an experience concept I developed won the business and became the foundation for the national tour.
Visitors explored key Galaxy S26 features including Nightography, Privacy Display, Horizontal Lock, and Photo Assist through interactive product experiences, exclusive giveaways, live DJ programming, and meet-and-greets with leading K-Pop talent. In partnership with DIVE, the tour featured appearances from Eric Nam, Hannah Bahng, Woosung, Mark Tuan, Shownu, Eric of The BOYZ, and Hyungwon, creating a high-energy environment that drove both engagement and product trial.
Working alongside creative leadership, I led the day-to-day creative development and execution of the program, overseeing the activation experience, custom event app, promotional giveaways, and consumer-facing marketing materials. The project was also one of the agency's earliest large-scale AI production initiatives and only the second program to leverage AI as a core creative production tool. I developed and implement a new AI-assisted workflow used to create the highly detailed illustration system that powered every consumer touchpoint across the campaign.
Partnering across strategy, experience design, development, production, and account teams, I helped guide the program from winning pitch through national execution. Along the way, we solved creative and technical challenges in real time, establishing a scalable model for future AI-assisted experiential and retail campaigns.

Infinity Ramyeon Video Booth
Samsung Features:
Nightography Photo/Video and Super Steady Cam
Fans stepped into a custom-built neon video booth designed to showcase the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s advanced Nightography video capabilities and Super Steady Cam stabilization feature. Surrounded by infinity mirrors and an animated ramyeon-inspired neon installation that I designed, guests captured content within an immersive environment filled with constantly shifting light, reflections, and motion, experiencing firsthand how the device delivers clear, detailed low-light footage while maintaining smooth, stable video even in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
Saju Fortune Telling App
Samsung Feature: Privacy Screen
To demonstrate the Galaxy S26 Ultra's new PrivacyScreen viewing feature, we designed a custom Saju-inspired fortune telling microsite rooted in the traditional Korean practice of interpreting a person's future based on personal information and birth details. Guests entered their information to generate personalized fortunes while naturally interacting with sensitive on-screen content.
The experience incorporated motion-based interactions within the UX, encouraging participants to tilt, rotate, and move their devices in public settings to demonstrate how the privacy feature helped keep information hidden from nearby viewers. By combining cultural storytelling with a hands-on product demonstration, the activation transformed a technical feature into an engaging and memorable experience.

Midnight in Seoul Dance Wall
Samsung Features:
Super Steady Cam and Photo Assist
The Dance Wall served as the primary stage for talent meet-and-greets while also functioning as an interactive showcase for Galaxy AI Photo Assist and the Galaxy S26 Ultra's Super Steady Cam feature throughout the event.
Guests learned a K-Pop-inspired dance routine from a professional choreographer and recorded their performances on Galaxy S26 Ultra devices, experiencing firsthand how Super Steady Cam automatically stabilized footage during movement.
Participants could then use Galaxy AI Photo Assist to transform their portraits into illustrated character versions of themselves or seamlessly add popular Korean night market street food items into their photos, creating personalized content inspired by contemporary Korean culture.
