Samsung
Team Galaxy Squad
What began as a college-focused ambassador program evolved into Samsung's larger creator community platform, connecting the brand with emerging creators through content opportunities, challenges, and campaigns. Having helped launch an earlier version of the program, I was brought back as Team Galaxy Squad expanded to support its next phase of growth.
As the Art Direction lead on the program, I oversaw creative development across the platform, helping shape both the member experience and the program's evolving visual identity. My work included redesigning key user journeys and member-facing pages, directing visual asset development, concepting creator bounties and engagement initiatives, and developing campaign launches that activated Team Galaxy Squad members as creators and brand advocates. I also originated the iCan't campaign, which leveraged creator participation and storytelling to generate content and engagement across the community to subvert attention from Apple’s 2025 Keynote. Working across strategy, design, content, and production teams, I helped evolve Team Galaxy Squad from a niche student initiative into a broader creator ecosystem.
Team Galaxy Squad (TGS) brings content creators together from across platforms to become official TGS Ambassadors. Once accepted, creators unlock access to Jebi—a Cheil-created platform that turns content creation into a game. Inside, Ambassadors tackle bounties, earn points, and cash them in at the Jebi store for Samsung devices and other fun prizes.
Over 1,000 Ambassadors are currently
participating in the program.
Ambassadors fall into one of three squads: Creators, Champions, and Affiliates.
Creators are your everyday influencers—lifestyle-led, creatively flexible, and not locked into constant brand partnerships. Think travel, culture, and everything in between.
Champions live and breathe their niche. Tech, cars, photography—you name it. They’re the experts, serving up deep dives, reviews, and seriously detailed DIY content.
Affiliates are here to sell (and they’re proud of it). Their feeds are built to convert, packed with links, bold CTAs, and “buy now” energy—whether it’s a product, place, or experience.
Each group is assigned their own bounties allowing for more diverse content.
Jebi
Jebi is the nerve center of Team Galaxy Squad. Once you’re a TGS Ambassador, it’s where everything happens—Bounties land in your feed, content gets submitted, points are earned and spent, and progress gets tracked through progress bars and leaderboards.
Each Bounty comes with its own featured image in Jebi, giving every challenge a clear visual moment before creators jump in.
Bounties
Each Bounty is a bite-sized creative brief—complete with a fun write-up, best-practice and trend links, platform-specific requirements, and plenty of tips and tricks for production.
Bounties are organized into four categories: All Group, Creators, Champions, and Affiliates. Ambassadors only see bounties relevant to their assigned group (plus All Group bounties) in their Jebi feed—no clutter, just the good stuff.
Every Bounty features a custom image and key details at a glance, including point value, rarity level (common, rare, or epic), required device (if applicable), and timing. Once the Bounty is conquered, Ambassadors submit their videos or images directly through Jebi to earn points and climb the ranks.

Apple Disrupt Campaign
#iCan’t
During Apple’s 2025 Keynote, we activated Team Galaxy Squad Ambassadors to hijack the social conversation—subtly, of course. By poking at Apple’s perceived lack of innovation, ambassadors dropped content across platforms while rocking an exclusive #iCan’t tee, flipping the moment and stealing a little spotlight.
The combined push from TGS creators and Samsung’s own social channels got people talking.
