AI Video Production for Social Campaign

AI VIDEO PRODUCTION ✹ AI PROMPT ENGINEERING ✹ AI PRODUCTION WORKFLOW ‍ ✹ VISUAL DEVELOPMENT ✹ AI IMAGE GENERATION

For a series of Bibigo Sticky Rice social films, my team was brought in to transform a campaign concept from another internal team into a fully realized AI video production. I led AI production on the first five films, developing the prompts and workflows that took our team from storyboards and still-image creation through motion and final production.

The challenge was continuity. Each film relied on highly specific food photography and continuous visual storytelling, requiring ingredients, products, props, people, environments, and compositions to remain believable from shot to shot, a level of precision generative AI still struggles to achieve. We built high-resolution composite stills for every single scene, sometimes using four or more stills to dictate the action per shot, before moving them into AI video rendering. Even the most minor revisions from the client required entire scenes to be rebuilt, because of the painstaking workflow required to maintain visual precision.

Within a limited budget and compressed timeline, I led our team in continually adapting the production process as new challenges emerged. We completed the first five films entirely in-house, then built the storyboards, finished stills, visual assets, and art direction for the remaining films before handing that framework to a partner agency for final AI video rendering.

First stop: Los Angeles.
Final destination: anyone’s guess.

Behind the Screens

A small glimpse into the very human effort behind artificial intelligence.

She has a good side, but we needed both.

Every little thing stuck to these giant sticky rice balls was painstakingly chosen for its cultural relevance. Thank you Hailey Bieber.

Nobody asked for magenta. Nano Banana had other plans.

Art directing individual grains of sticky rice. A perfectly normal use of one’s time.

One of approximately a bajillion storyboards. Give or take.

The secret to a perfectly rendered giant ball of sticky rice? Apparently, referencing lip gloss in the prompt.

For the next two rounds, I continued leading the visual development, art directing and creating the foundation stills with my team that another production team brought to life.
